As a civil engineering student, I am proud to reflect on my team's award-winning project from 2021, which focused on manufacturing low-cost wall paint by including natural waste products. This project has played an integral role in my ongoing commitment to sustainability, and it is an accomplishment that I am truly proud of. Our project aimed to address two critical issues: the increasing cost of wall paint and the environmental degradation caused by waste disposal. We decided to focus on natural waste products such as eggshells and banana peels, which are widely available and often discarded. We sought to find a way to use these waste products to create an environmentally-friendly paint that was both low-cost and effective. The project required a great deal of research and experimentation, as we needed to find the appropriate combination of materials to produce a high-quality paint. We used a ball mill to grind the eggshells and banana peels into a fine powder, which we then added...
